The Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology holds the graduation ceremony for students of Vietnam-France high-quality engineer training program

From June 15 to 17, 2020 at the lecture hall C, University of Science and Technology, the University of Danang, the graduation ceremony was held for students majoring in Automated Production, Industrial Informatics and Software engineering belongs to the Vietnam-France High Quality Engineer Training Program (PFIEV), Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST faculty), course 2015-2020. The PFIEV program trains engineers according to French standards, stipulating that students have at least 6 months of internship at enterprises, including an internship and graduation project (Stage de fin d'etude) from 4 -6 months must be at the enterprise. Every year, the PFIEV program has about 4-5 internships granted by French partner schools to practice in France in laboratories or companies in France and other countries. Up to now, nearly 100% of students of 3 PFIEV majors have been able to practice and do graduation projects at enterprises.
The Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology organizes a conference to collect opinions from enterprises and lecturers on the framework of the VN-US advanced program.

On the morning of April 24, 2021, at room C303 of the University of Science and Technology - the University of Danang, the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST faculty) held a conference to collect opinions from enterprises and lecturers on the framework of the Program. VN-US advanced program for Electronics and Telecommunications industry and Embedded systems and IoT industries to conduct surveys and consult stakeholders to develop and improve training programs (e.g. training programs), improve the quality of teaching close to reality, meeting the recruitment needs of enterprises. These are two majors imported from the training programs of the University of Washington and Portland State University, USA and there is close cooperation between the University and domestic and foreign partner enterprises in the process of training and students. Students participate in learning with 100% of the courses taught in English.

On the afternoon of December 16, 2019, the delegation of University of Science and Technology - University of Danang (DUT) included Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thi Kim Oanh – Vice Rector and Dr. Nguyen Le Hoa - Dean of Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology had a working visit with National Taipei University of Education (NTNU), welcoming the delegation from NTNU including Prof. Hsiang-Lin Liu – Vice Rector in charge of international cooperation, Prof. Wen-Chung Kao – Dean, College of Technology and Engineering and lecturers of the Faculty of Technology and Engineering. At the meeting, the two sides shared information about DUT and NTNU as well as expressed their wish to establish a cooperative relationship in scientific research, support to organize IEEE international seminars, and accept students. DUT staff members to do internships and graduation projects, receive DUT students to study masters and doctorates at NTNU. The two parties also agreed to sign the MOU on the occasion of the visit
Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology organizes Student Scientific Research Conference 2019-2020 (FAST Tech Show 2019-2020)

On the afternoon of December 5, 2019, at the Hall 2 of the Smart Building (building S) of the University of Science and Technology - the University of Danang, the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) held a student Scientific Research Conference in the academic year 2019-2020 (FAST Tech Show 2019-2020). Attending the conference were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Tuan- Head of Department of Testing & Quality Assurance, Dr. Nguyen Le Hoa- Dean of FAST, Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu- Vice Dean, along with staff, lecturers and students of FAST In particular, the Organizing Committee invited Eng. Vo Thanh Van- Viettel Network Technology Research Center (VTTEK) - Viettel Military Telecommunications Group, Eng. Le Cong Vinh Khai - TAPIT Technology Co., Ltd. as the jury of the contest.
STUDENT NGUYEN VAN NHAN PARTICIPATES IN SAKURA SCIENCE EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN JAPAN

Nguyen Van Minh Nhan, a student of class 17ECE - Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology was honored to be selected to participate in the Sakura Science exchange program, organized by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and conducted by The Univerisity of Electro -Communications. The show takes place from October 27 to November 2, 2019 in Japan.

On the morning of November 1, 2019 at room C304 of University of Science and Technology - University of Danang, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) cooperated with Enclave Company (http://enclaveit.com) to organize the seminar and recruit students for graduate internship in Software Engineering under the Program of Vietnamese-French High-Quality Engineer Training Program (PFIEV) of FAST. The event has attracted a large number of FAST students to participate, this is one of the activities regularly organized by FAST in collaboration with Enterprises, in order to help students get good internship positions at enterprises, get early access to the most professional, modern and dynamic working environment today.
