On January 7, 2021 at the lecture hall area C, University of Science and Technology, the University of Danang, a Capstone Project defense ceremony was held by students of the 2016-2021 class, VN-US Advanced Program, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST).

Participating in this year's Capstone Project Defense Ceremony, there were 36 Vietnamese-American Advanced Program students with 15 selected topics that were issues that businesses were interested in researching and were guided by the Council on content orientation, to both academic requirements and practical applicability requirements from various fields such as IoT, chip design, image processing, telecommunications, automation, etc. with the support and companion of many large enterprises in the fields of Electronics, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, Automation such as Da Nang International Airport, Viettel High-tech Industry Corporation, Central Power Information Technology Company, Acronics Solutions Co., Ltd., K&L Instant Service Co., Ltd., D-SOFT Joint Stock Company, Synopsys Vietnam Co., Ltd., MIND Technology Co., Ltd. and especially the guidance of a team of experienced lecturers from the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, Faculty of Electronics - Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology of University of Science and Technology, University of Danang.

This is an important event not only for students but also a serious affirmation of FAST in training work to ensure training quality according to the commitment to output standards. At the presentation session, each student has 20-30 minutes to present their project entirely in English and answer critical questions from the Defense Council. Many students have good presentation skills, answer the questions posed by the topic and have received many comments, suggestions as well as wishes and enthusiastic sharing from teachers in the grading board.

According to many students who are studying, the reason they choose the advanced program is because the curriculum of Advanced Program under FAST includes: The Division of Electronics and Telecommunications and the Embedded Systems Industry is built on the program of famous partner universities of the United States (University of Washington-UW, Portland State Universit-PSU), students are taught in English 100 % of basic subjects and majors, English output standards of CTTT students must achieve the equivalent international English certificate TOEFL iBT 71, TOEFL PBT 530, IELTS 6.0. Therefore, Vietnamese-American advanced program students have a lot of job opportunities at multinational companies as well as seek scholarships to improve their qualifications…

To achieve the above results is not only the efforts of the students during their school years but also the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the teachers with them. Congratulations and believe that after graduating, you will be able to apply the knowledge and skills that your teachers have imparted to you to apply them to work and life, to meet the needs of high quality human resource force for society.
