In two days, January 16-17, 2021, the Science Conference and Technology Exhibition of Students  in 2021 (BKDN TECHSHOW 2021) co-organized by the University of Science and Technology, the University of Danang and Phan Chu Trinh High School held at Phan Chau Trinh High School, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) participated enthusiastically and actively in all activities of the event. Students of FAST participated in the reporting session of excellent projects throughout the University; exhibiting scientific research topics of students and organizing fun science activities: contest "Maze Runner Robot Race", contest "Ring the Golden Bell"  aims to create a vibrant atmosphere, exchange and stimulate the spirit of passion for science and technology for high school students at Phan Chau Trinh High School.
 

At the exhibition stand, FAST research groups directly introduced excellent researches, such as: Detect cyberbullying based on natural language processing; ID card information extractor; Facial Recognition System based on Mobile Feature Pyramid Network and Additive Angular Margin Loss algorithm; COVID-19 prediction on Xray Scan; Anti-Covid: Mask detection; Research, design and manufacture a wearable device to monitor and detect abnormal heart rhythms; Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) parking lot system based on YOLO implementation on Python; Game inhibition fun; Application of Speech Recognition to detect trigger word to turn on/turn off devices; Deep Learning Based Salient Object Detection; Design smart ABS control system by using Simulink on MATLAB; Density Based Trafficlight Control System Simulated By FPGA.

The jury and guests are very interested in the scientific research topics of FAST students

The "Ring the Golden Bell" contest is an exciting, exciting and thrilling playground. With 30 students selected to participate, they quickly and confidently conquered English questions from easy to difficult levels with rich content. The race to win first, second and third prizes is getting more and more interesting when all 3 remaining contestants on the ring are excellent.

Tran Thanh Xuan, a student in class 12/23 of Phan Chu Trinh High School excellently became the Champion of the Golden Bell Ringing Contest, and students Mai Dang Truong and Truong Van Quoc Bao of class 20CDTCLC2 won the second prize of the contest.

The 4th " Maze Runner Robot Race" contest with the aim of creating an interesting playground and exchanging, learning, and learning passions and interests about robots for Phan Chu Trinh high school students and DUT- UD students has brought a vibrant, youthful and colorful atmosphere.

The competition teams are very tense and the cheering audience is also very nervous

Team QAT is the champion team of Maze Runner Robot Race 2021, including the following members: Nguyen Nhat Quang (class 18PFIEV2), Truong Kim Thuan (class 18PFIEV2), Nguyen Thi Hong Anh (class 18PFIEV1)

In particular, FAST students also won the prestigious awards of BKDN TECHSHOW 2021:

Second Prize- Technology Prize for the topic “Anti Covid: Mask detection” by student group Tran Trong Duc Nguyen Dinh Vinh - class 16ES.

Third Prize- Idea Prize for the topic "Detecting cyberbullying based on natural language processing" by student group Phung Huu Tai, Dang Huynh Khanh Ly- class 16PFIEV3.

Activities taking place in the Science Conference and Technology Exhibition of students and students in 2021 co-organized by the University of Science and Technology, the University of Danang and Phan Chu Trinh High School in general, as well as at the exhibition booth. The exhibition of FAST in particular left many emotions and deep impressions on the students of the two schools. Thereby helping them have a clearer view of the students' learning and training movements, thereby contributing to more passion, enthusiasm for research, learning and creativity for the students.
