The Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology makes its mark at the Science Conference and Technology Exhibition of students in 2021

In two days, January 16-17, 2021, the Science Conference and Technology Exhibition of Students in 2021 (BKDN TECHSHOW 2021) co-organized by the University of Science and Technology, the University of Danang and Phan Chu Trinh High School held at Phan Chau Trinh High School, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) participated enthusiastically and actively in all activities of the event. Students of FAST participated in the reporting session of excellent projects throughout the University; exhibiting scientific research topics of students and organizing fun science activities: contest "Maze Runner Robot Race", contest "Ring the Golden Bell" aims to create a vibrant atmosphere, exchange and stimulate the spirit of passion for science and technology for high school students at Phan Chau Trinh High School.

In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country to celebrate Vietnam Teachers' Day, on the evening of November 18, 2020, the youth Union of Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) of the University of Science and Technology - the University of Danang organized a program on celebrating Vietnam Teachers' Day and welcoming new students for the course 2020 with many exciting and colorful activities as a special greeting for new members. This is an annual activity at "FAST Home", creating closeness and connection between the Board of Leaders, Lecturer and staff of faculty, alumni and new students. Within the framework of cooperation between Logi VietFrance Company, La SOGET Company (Le Havre city, France) and Vietnam-France High Quality Engineer Training Program (PFIEV) - Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) ), on the morning of December 17, 2020 at the FAST, building C, University of Science and Technology - the University of Danang, the signing ceremony of an agreement to continue providing internship scholarships in France between Logi VietFrance company and La SOGET Company with the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) for 2 students of the Vietnamese-French high-quality engineer training program (PFIEV).

On October 18, 2020, a Doctoral Dissertation (NCS) Defense Ceremony of Mr. Tran Ngoc Hai, Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (code number: 9520103), with the title "Study of automatic speed control of hydraulic motor drive spindle" was held at DUT. The thesis is guided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Cung and Prof. Dr. Ngo Van Dung.

On October 19, 2020, FUJIKIN INCORPORATED - Japan (FUJIKIN) and The University of Danang – University of Science and Technology (DUT) signed a cooperation agreement under the witness of Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide and Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the Government Office. The signing ceremony was held within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam by the Prime Minister of Japan.

With the aim to help high school students have the opportunity to access new scientific and technological knowledge and contribute to the development of high-quality human resources for the future of the locality and the country, the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) - University of Science and Technology - University of Danang in collaboration with Digital Innovation Lab (DILab) awarded 100 scholarships for the online course "Experiencing the Artificial Intelligence in 1 week" (AI in One Week) (worth 4 million VND/person) for high school students in Da Nang city and Quang Nam province. This is one of the activities in the program of Cooperation to develop innovative, creative and entrepreneurship education activities of FAST with high schools in Quang Nam and Da Nang.
