Continuing to implement the digital transformation plan in university administration at the University of Science and Technology - the University of Danang, on the afternoon of April 20^th, 2022, at lecture hall F, a training session on implementing the Base system was took place to the entire Board of Deans and secretaries of 14 Faculties of the University.

Overview of the training session

Attending the training session, Dr. Phan Minh Duc – Chairman of the University of Danang Council; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Hai - Vice Rector and more than 50 participants who are Deans and Vice Deans of 14 Faculties, representatives of Leaders of functional units and clerical staff, secretaries and officers will participate in working and sharing the contents related to the implementation of Base.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized the role and importance of implementing the Base system for the University's goal of transforming university administration; affirming the practical effects of saving processing time and the administrative process has been clearly demonstrated from the time of testing (October 2021) to the stage of implementation in functional units and gradually in the entire of the University.

On behalf of the University's Digital Transformation Steering Committee, Dr. Nguyen Quang Trung – Director of Department of Personnel and Administration gave a quick report on the structure of the Base system, the applications deployed by the University from proposal management, operational processes, and assignment management. The stages and plans to deploy Base application to all faculties in order to create coordination and effective exploitation of the management platform system have been invested by the University. Actual sharing and implementation of the proposal form from representatives of functional units (Academic affairs, Learning Resources and Communication Center) have also partly helped faculties better understand Base's features and applications to prepare for the implementation of the Base platform system throughout the University.

Discussing at the training session, Dr. Phan Minh Duc acknowledged the University's efforts in the process of gradually implementing digital transformation; At the same time, there are practical sharings on how to ensure effective implementation of the Base application platform. The University needs to focus on completing the ISO process system, linking data to serve the University's operation management. Representatives of Faculty Leaders also had discussions and agreed with the policy and propose to immediately deploy the Base system to the Faculty to familiarize themselves with and promptly propose necessary adjustments if anything arises during use.

Concluding speech, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Hai once again emphasized the necessity of implementing Base in the entire University; simultaneously, assign functional units to continue to perfect the data system, update the appropriate forms, in accordance with the issued ISO processes, and promptly support and coordinate with the Faculties to handle relevant problems to ensure effective exploitation of Base applications in the administration and operation of the University's activities./.
