ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION RESEARCH CENTER (EPRC)

Environmental Protection Research Center is a unit under the University of Danang (EPRC), has legal status, was established under Decision 3962/GD-DT dated October 14^th, 1995 of the Minister of Education and Training.

1. FUNCTION

- Investigating, researching and evaluating environmental pollution (water, air, soil...).

- Researching solutions to reduce and protect the environment in production and life.

- Implementation of science and technology services: Information, technology transfer consulting, training and retraining in the field of environmental protection.

2. EQUIPMENT

EPRC has a full range of environmental analysis equipment and models of wastewater and exhaust gas treatment, which are divided by functional rooms.

Department of sampling equipment, rapid measurement at the scene

EPRC is equipped with modern sampling equipment, rapid measurement equipment for water, air, sediment, microorganisms and can meet all the needs of environmental monitoring and survey.

Department of Analysis of Basic Indicators

The room has the function of preserving, processing and analyzing basic criteria in the environment of water, air, sediment... some equipment in the room.

Heavy Metal Analysis Room

Currently, EPRC has enough equipment and machinery to analyze heavy metal indicators in water, gas, and sediment environments with trace content.

Chromatography room

The Environment Protection Research Center has a full range of modern equipment for sample processing, sample enrichment, gas chromatography and high pressure liquid chromatography, serving for qualitative and quantitative analysis of compounds, inorganic and organic substances in trace form, especially toxic substances such as pesticides, PAHs, Phenol...

Model Room

In addition to the current environmental quality analysis equipment, EPRC also has advanced models of wastewater and exhaust gas treatment to meet the needs of society.
