About

The Faculty of Water Resources Engineering was established in 1976 as a major of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Science and Technology - Da Nang. The first class of students in this major is called 76x2. With the development of the University, the Faculty of Civil Engineering was divided into three faculties in 1996, one of which was the Faculty of Water Resources Engineering.

Established the Faculty of Construction of Hydropower  - Irrigation

2001

Enrollment for the first postgraduate course, two majors:

+ Development of water resources

+ River and Coastal training

Enrollment for the first Undergraduate course in Construction Economics and Project Management,

2008

Enrollment for the first Undergraduate course in Construction Informatics

Enrollment for the Master’s course in Hydraulic Engineering

2009

Enrollment for the Master’s course in Water Resources Management (association with the University of Nice-Sophia)

Courses renamed to:

+ Hydraulic engineering

+ Civil engineering – Major in Construction Informatics

Faculty renamed  to Faculty of water Resources Engineering
